AOL Stylist reports that Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Burberry bags have been spotted at the Costco Warehouse Shopping Club at East 116th street in New York. They say, “The new location currently has Chanel Classic Flap handbags available for $1,999…and they sold out of Louis Vuitton Speedy bags, regularly priced from $665 to more than $3,000, all three going for $589 a pop.” Wow, talk about fast fashion! Though most eager stylistas are interested in the shoes as works of art, the article surmises that some would actually wear these clunkers as an accent to a cocktail a la Daphne Guinness.
